Last night in the class we're attending at Journey, we talked about Satan and how he is a real being, not just an evil power or influence like so many Christians believe. We talked about how he schemes to pull us far away from Christ through our minds. He comes at us to steal, kill and destroy and his only agenda is to get us to fall away from Jesus and follow him instead.

There are so many ways that Satan can attack us. He uses other people, the things of this world, greed, lust, worry, anxiety and anger just to name a few. He is real good at using distractions to get our focus off of God and onto anything else. Especially since he's got our number. He knows just what button to push to get you to lose sight of Christ and question your beliefs.

Below is a skit that a church in Tennessee performed. We watched this last night to help us to "see" how Satan acts. It really helps to paint the picture of what Satan literally does to us if we let him. But it also shows that Jesus never leaves us, is always calling us back and always welcomes us home.
