Where In The (Blog) World...

have I been?! I know...it's been a while. But, due to a busy schedule the blog had to take a back seat. I've been overwhelmed by my to-do list lately! I've had several design projects fall into my lap, which I'm very grateful for. From logo design, to branding a non-profit, to creating a birthday invitation for one of Matt's co-workers, I've had little downtown over the last several weeks! Add in volunteering at church, hanging out with my family and friends, leading our small group, finishing out Discipleship class strong (only 6 more weeks!) and planning for missions trip to Uganda this summer, it's been a whirlwind around this house!

Speaking of going to Uganda this summer...you can keep up with what we are doing and our journey along the way by going to this blog. For the sake of keeping all things Uganda in one place and for the sanity of my mind, check back there for the latest updates or become a "follower"!

Also speaking of Uganda, we will be hosting a Hot Dog Fundraiser on April 30th with all proceeds going towards our trip. We are really excited about the fact that four people in our small group are committed to going to Uganda this summer, stepping WAY outside of our comfort zones to reach the lost people of this country. So, we have banded together to raise funds that we will split four ways.

It's a very exciting time around here! Oh, and did I mention that we will have a new niece or nephew this September?! I'm pretty fired up about that too! Jer and Erin are pregnant!

I am so excited for you guys and that you are going to Uganda this summer! As I read your story on the Uganda blog, my eyes filled with tears - I am just overjoyed! When you told me that you guys were going to Honduras, I was happy...but I really wanted you guys to want to go to Uganda...(maybe I'm selfish? I just really have a heart for Uganda now) I can't wait to see how the Lord works, and for your part in what He is doing in Ugandan lives. I can't wait to see how He works through this in your lives as well! He is so good! Praise the Lord!
