A Birthday Celebration and Soccer Fun

On Friday, April 18 we celebrated Jer's birthday. The whole family was in town and it was lots of fun to hang out and eat good food once again. It was a sweet time of family and fun and celebrating! We enjoyed playing outside since the weather was so nice and grilling out. As usual the food was plenty and the cake and ice cream topped it off! Everyone was able to be there to celebrate and we had a great time that night. A little poker with the boys and a little bubble blowing added to the events of the night. Litte Dominic is growing so big and smiles a lot. Luke enjoyed playing with cousins Lian and Kevin. Saturday morning Jer, Tyler, Anna and I went to St. Mary's and played a little soccer. First time in a long time for me but it was great! We strapped on the cleats and practiced our juggling and kicking skills. It's a shame that I can tell I've lost the muscle in my legs since I can't kick it as far anymore. I'll have to work on that :) We enjoyed playing on a nice field and kicking the ball around. I decided after a while I wanted to get some neat "sports" shots so below are a few of the better ones. We played for a couple of hours and it was pretty warm so we decided to call it quits. Good thing too since I got a little sunburn on my arms!
